DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR

Who is Jesus?

The difference you’ve been looking for…

Have you ever wanted something different in life?  Maybe a change of careers or the purchase of a new car?  Sometimes a simpler difference, such as a new hair style or a new pair of shoes, does the trick.

But, what if the difference you are looking for is something the world can’t offer?  Maybe you desire a real and personal relationship with God.  Do you desire to finally know for certain where you will spend eternity?  Is the difference you desire a freedom from the guilt you carry in life?

The Bible says that today can be different for you.  How can it be different?  Listen to what the book of Romans, found in the Bible, has to say:

Romans 3:23 says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Those self centered actions in life that violate God’s law are called sin.  Every person has sinned and, therefore, everyone has missed God’s standard of perfection.

Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”

This death caused by our sinfulness means that we are unable to have a relationship with God on earth and we will be separated from God for all eternity when we die.  There is, however, hope found in the free gift God offers to each of us.

Romans 5:8 says “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Jesus Christ is the free gift offered to us!  God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to die on the cross and rise from the dead in order to pay the penalty for our sins.

Romans 10:9 says “That if you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus as Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Experiencing the difference Jesus Christ can make in your life requires more than just intellectual assent.  You must turn from sin and self and turn to Jesus Christ.  You receive this free gift of salvation by trusting Jesus Christ alone, and what He has done on the cross, in paying the penalty for your sins.  Then a new personal relationship with God and an eternal home in heaven becomes yours.

Romans 10:13 says “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Would you like to trust Jesus Christ alone for your salvation and discover the difference He can make in you life?

Pray this prayer or a similar prayer from your heart.

Prayer: Dear God I know I am a sinner.  I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sin and then arose from the dead.  I now confess you, Jesus, as Lord and trust you alone for my salvation.  According to your Word, I believe you and receive you by faith.  Thank you for the free gift of eternal life.  Amen.

CONGRATULATIONS!
